On July 1, 2026, PayPay announced new measures regarding the continued use of non-PayPay credit cards (including PayPay Card Gold) within its smartphone payment service. Starting that same day, the company introduced “Third-Party Card Usage Vouchers” as a way to continue using external credit cards. With the introduction of these vouchers, PayPay plans to terminate the conventional payment method of linking third-party credit cards directly to the service by the end of August.
