Crying in Kagoshima as I drive 500km round trip every month.

Kanto is in a league of its own, obviously, but depending on which cast members you’re aiming for, this place is actually better than Kansai. They don’t really come here much if they aren’t doing solo work.
5: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 21:45:58 ID:???Sa
They even have ShioShizu.
6: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 22:44:02 ID:???00
And the content is actually entertaining, too.

I haven’t gone yet, but I really want to go at least once. The reputation seems really good.

Aruaru City is the mecca for voice actor events in Kyushu. Fukuoka doesn’t have a place like this.
9: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 22:58:42 ID:???00
Even without the voice actor events, I wish I had a place like Aruaru City nearby.
10: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 23:01:13 ID:???00
Where are they getting the money for this?

It’s a paid event, so maybe they’re turning a profit?

It’s insane that they can even book Natsuyoshi these days.
12: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 23:10:12 ID:???00
Aruaru City and Science Hall are basically the holy lands for voice actor events.
13: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 23:15:34 ID:???00
Is this why there’s such a weirdly high ratio of fans from Kyushu and Yamaguchi at the concerts I’ve been to?
14: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/18(木) 23:34:02 ID:???00
Kitakyushu is the hometown of the great Matsumoto Leiji, so they’ve been putting effort into manga, and that’s spilled over into anime stuff. Aruaru City and the surrounding area are really pushing hard. Not sure how they manage to book so many guests, though.

It’s definitely worth traveling for YATTEKURU if your fave is appearing. I had a blast hitting the Kitakyushu show after the Ren 4th in Ishikawa last year and the 6th this year.

I live in Kanto, so I skipped my fave’s show, but hearing that it was fun makes me regret it.

Apparently they did a jump rope competition at this event, they’ll do anything at this point.

For Liella!, the ones who haven’t come yet are Pay, Yabukuma, and Yuina? It’s amazing that over half have visited.

I went to the one with Kubo, but it was just comedy, so it was kinda meh since I don’t really get that humor. I wish they’d do a live performance.

That’s to be expected since they’re guests at a comedian’s event.

Do they have a genius event planner or something?
25: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/19(金) 12:10:26 ID:???Sa
They have a lot of audience-participation segments, so you can really feel their drive to make an event that’s fun for everyone, not just those who bought participation tickets.
26: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/19(金) 13:21:52 ID:???00
They don’t have outside writers, it’s just the staff thinking hard about how everyone can have fun, which is amazing. Mayuchi was even praising them saying she wants to do that when she puts on events. Plus, it seems like they get sent home with so many souvenirs that you need a huge suitcase, which probably boosts the cast’s motivation too.
28: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/19(金) 15:26:23 ID:???00
I was at the 2nd part, so this is second-hand, but they mentioned they grilled meat for the 1st part of Konachi’s event.
29: Unknown Japuzz Watcher 2026/06/19(金) 18:32:35 ID:???Sp
Considering they do a full two-hour event for a relatively cheap 6,000-7,000 yen, I wonder if they get a discount on the venue fee or something.
