The student is accused of launching a cyberattack against the operator of the anime streaming service “Bandai Channel.” Using a self-made program, he allegedly force-unsubscribed approximately 46,800 user accounts.
The student has admitted to the charges, stating, “I created the program myself and asked (conversational generative AI) ChatGPT for help to finish it.” The police are currently investigating the details of the incident.
